The Workout Battle Part 2

A lot of people have asked me recently if I am still doing the workout DVD Self: Slim and Sleek, Fast!  For those of you who are curious, I am not.  I actually got bored. So what am I doing now as a workout regimen?  Honestly, I would love to say nothing but in reality if there is no sweat there is no gain.  Gosh I hate that cliche but it applies here. Currently I am doing Jillian Micheal's 30 Day Shred it DVD which I have rented from Netflix.  Yes...the same Jillian Micheal's from the show The Biggest Loser.


Oh my goodness I both hate and love this DVD at the same time. I hate it because it is hard but I love it because Jillian really pushes you to make the workout count. There are 3 levels and each is broken down into 3 circuits.   Be forewarned if you try it, I could barely move after I did level 1 for the first time.  I have recently graduated to level 3 and it is painful.  The levels are only 20 minutes each which is exceptionally nice because you can quickly squeeze it in; however, plan on taking a shower after you are done because you are going to be sweaty.

Does it work?  Heck yeah.  I have actually rediscovered that I have stomach muscles again.  Yippee! After having my daughter I would have sworn to you that my stomach had no muscles in it.  It was literally mush and every time I sat down it would all fall forward and create a little shelf. Granted that little shelf has been very useful in holding my daughter but it is time for it go bye-bye.  Adios to the pouch.
